Common Challenges We Solve

When IR laser light illuminates molecular species with resonant bond energy levels, vibrations occur. The energy left over can be turned into a Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrum. The peaks recorded in the infrared fingerprint region (~250-1500cm-1) are centered around the wavelengths provided by our grating tuned CO2 lasers (~850-1100cm-1). This is a crucial tool in organic chemistry and material science because it reveals what bonds are found in evaluated samples and their functional groups.

  1. Average power between 200mW to 10W
  2. Tunable single line emission
  3. Stable average power output
  4. Narrow linewidth
  5. High mode quality
  6. Continuous Wave or Pulse-Width Modulated operation
