By actively monitoring and compensating for temperature fluctuations, our stabilized lasers improve both power and wavelength control.

  • A key factor in laser performance for many applications is the stability of output power. Stabilized lasers take advantage of INVAR rods and temperature feedback loops to reduce the thermal expansion of laser bodies. These compensation methods can reduce power swings to +2%.
  • For several of our lasers, this accessory is required to enable the use of other accessories such as Super Pulse (-P) or Line Tracker (-T).
  • The Fan-Cooled Closed Loop (FCCL) option requires an external temperature controller, while the Water Cooled (WC) and Water Cooled Closed Loop (WCCL) options rely on the PID feedbacks integrated into recirculating chillers we suggest customers use.
